Zarhia is a platform for the production and processing of horticultural products focusing on crop health and modern agriculture.

In Zarhia the horticultural products are produced and processed, using the latest scientific methods. We ensure you that the products are produced under the principles of fair trade by our farmers. Zarhia is a partner and concomitant to farmers.

Our agricultural lands are not much similar to traditional lands. Here, farmers perform the process from pollination to pest control and irrigation, based on artificial intelligent tools. Moreover, we, alongside with our farmers try to create a positive cycle, reach the soil and healthy environment.

In Zarhia, we are a group of professional and determined people who like to create a path to the future by using our knowledge. Since the products in your food basket has a direct impact on your health, it is important to us that how those are planted, grown, and delivered to your home. That’s why we came together and Zarhia was born to produce completely healthy and high-quality products with the help of modern methods of agriculture. “Health and “Quality” are two words that we love you to remember us by them.

Our Story

The initiation of our story goes back to the winter of 2019, passing through the white mountain roads of Iran and reaching Armenia; Where the founders of Zarhia first experienced doing business outside the borders of Iran, after which he arrives at a fresh and high-quality date and dried fruit packaging workshop, somewhere in the back alleys of Shemiran. The first is the old Shemiran highway and of course the first is the Zarhia highway. We went step by step in this direction; We learned how to trade with the world. We fell down and started again.

We discovered the hidden requirements of the business we were engaged in and grew; Until 2014. We decided to build it now which we know exactly what we want, and Zarhia was born.

In the first days when Zarhia were established, we were busy studying cultivation methods to achieve the highest quality in products and create a sustainable chain. We knew that in order to have a strong and stable tree, we have to initiate from the roots.

That is why we returned to the soil. To agricultural lands and their problems and capacities. From here on, they live in villages and gardens next to farmers for up to two years. We planted and reaped until we learned to clear the continuation of the armored path.

Following it was time to sell products. We said goodbye to the farmers and our journey began, we crossed seas and oceans and delivered Zarhia products to Russia, China, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia and Taiwan.

The arrival of Zarhia products beyond the borders and seas opened new paths for us. In order to speed up the transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, we registered Soussan Sun Plain Company (SSP Co.) in 2017.

In SSP Co. we check the conditions of the land with the help of artificial intelligence and we get help from robots for pollination and pest control. We select the best seeds in the laboratory and make water from air humidity to irrigate the land.

The result of this benefit from science and technology is the doubling of the harvested crops this year in Zarhia compared to the previous year, along with strengthening the soil and improving the conditions of farmers. We intend to continue this path resolutely in addition, insist on the health and improvement of the quality of our products and leave a strong tree of Zarhia for future generations.

Mission & Vision

In Zarhia, we want to look at all the stages and processes of producing an agricultural product anew.

Examine each step carefully and with our knowledge and experience to find an optimal method which is easy for farmers to do. With the help of our colleagues in universities, artificial intelligence and robots, we have progressed well so far. Now, many tasks which used to require hours and energy of the farmer can be done in a few minutes.

However our work does not end here, as much as the cultivation, pest control and irrigation of a product is important for Zarhia, its storage, packaging and availability are also important. We are with the farmers to deliver the products they have produced and we are sure of their health and quality to the people in the best way.

The most important prospect of Zarhia is to be able to help create and increase food security by preserving natural resources and creating healthy agriculture. In Zarhia, we strive to improve the economy of farmers and keep agricultural lands rich and generous by creating a complete chain, along with building a healthy food basket.

DATES PALM GROVE

Zarhia cultivates dates in cooperation with more than 30 farmers and with more than 700 hectares. The groves are located in the south and southwest of Iran from Khuzestan province to Hormozgan province.

In the cultivation areas, we have agricultural teams specializing in “modern agriculture” with a cold room equipped with a sorting machine to obtain the best quality of the product.

Factory

Zarhia factory is located in the 10th km of Ahvaz-Khorramshahr coastal road, Ahvaz,Khuzestan province, where operations are done on one site. (including the processes of: sorting, pitting, stuffed dates, chocolate dates, sliced date, date paste, date sauce, date cookies, quality control, storage and marketing).
